Remember brothers and sisters...

  • In our self-denial we are removing those things that distract us that we can come closer to God in placing our thoughts on God rather than the material goods we can so easily get wrapped up in. We can't just stop eating chocolate for Lent and think that's it - we are to draw our minds and our bodies to the Cross of Christ in humility.
